چکیده
Saudi’s farm animal genetic resources have a particular role to play in managing the rural environment and assisting maintaining wild biological diversity. Our indigenous livestock breeds are of great economic, social cultural importance. The presence is very positive feature for many who live in, work or visit countryside farming frequently core activity on which whole communities depend. Kingdom has rich diverse population sheep, goats, poultry, horses & Camel most it at risk. conservation sustainable use food agriculture widely supported international objective contributing efforts eliminate global poverty achieve world security.

data present study were collected form Noemi, Najdi Hari raised Najd (96, 108, 90 animals, respectively) Qassim region. Eight body measurements studied, Wither heights (WH), Rum (RH), Body length (BL), Head (HL), Heart girth (HG), Muzzle diameter (MD), Cannon circumference (CC) (CL). Noemi taking second size breed sheep Saudi Arabia. smallest Arabia main Hejaz Asir regions belong with coarse hair thick tail strain. results these showed that biggest sizes all 10.9% 11.4% bigger than Hari, Approximate respectively. By other way comparing Noemi’s breed, having (10.5% Approximate) Hari. Three categories ages presents this study, eight, eighteen forty-eight months. first category eight months by 11.2% compare No big differences among different around 2% favor category. In addition, effect sex was significant, male always female. more studied All fixed (effect of: Age, Breed Sex) significant traits expect trait. correlations coefficients moderate high highly significant. highest correlation coefficient found between RH WH (0.872), lowest one CC HG (0.214).

Comparative Physiological and Molecular Study of Some Sheep Breeds in Saudi Arabia
Naemi, Heri, Najdi and Sawakni sheep breeds inhabiting Kingdom of Saudi Arabia were studied on both physiological and molecular bases. Native polyacrylamide gel-electrophoreses for two enzymes Malate Dehydrogenase (Mdh) and Malic Enzyme (Me) recorded 5 isoenzyme loci from which 4 were polymorphic and 1 was monomorphic. Mdh showed three fractions, the first was recorded in Sawakni and Najdi bree...

"Broadcast" theory is one of the common theories explaining how phenomena and ideas spread. It is used by researchers in different fields of study. Having studied broadcast theory and its different components, this article tries to represent whether Islamic revolution of Iran has exerted influence on Saudi Arabia. And if positive, how it has influenced and how much it has been. The results sug...
متن کاملSequence Variations of Mitochondrial DNA Displacement-Loop in Iranian Indigenous Sheep Breeds
Mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) has been used extensively to study population genetics because it has the unique features of maternal inheritance, a relatively fast rate of evolution and lack of recombination. A total of 82 unrelated sheep from 10 Iranian indigenous sheep breeds were investigated to determinate the maternal genetic diversity using a sequence of a 685 bp segment of the displacement lo...
متن کاملPhenotypic and molecular characterization of HA-MRSA in Taif hospitals, Saudi Arabia.
INTRODUCTION Methicillin-resistant S. aureus (MRSA) is one of the most important organisms causing hospital-acquired infections worldwide. Molecular analysis of MRSA strains from Taif, Saudi Arabia, had not been previously done. Phenotypic and molecular characteristics of MRSA isolated from Taif hospitals were investigated. METHODOLOGY This study involved S. aureus strains isolated from diffe...
متن کاملEnvironmental and Genetic Factors Affecting Early Growth Traits in Three Yemeni Indigenous Sheep Breeds
The data were collected from 1992 to 2009 in Burri, White Boni and Black Boni sheep maintained at the Regional Research Station in the Central Highlands of Yemen. Data were analyzed to study the effects of environmental and genetic factors on body weight and growth rate from birth to weaning. The least square means for body weights (BW) were 2.54, 2.18 and 2.26 kg for birth; 12.49, 10.58 and 11...
